The Les Cheneaux area lies east of the Mackinac Bridge along the northern shore of Lake Huron. Thirty six islands provide warm, sheltered channels and bays within the Straits of Mackinac – a historic harbor area for boaters and explorers – while our outer bays offer an exhilarating venue for racing.
We encourage you to bring your family and stay for the week. There are several activities to choose from that are sure to make your trip memorable – take a day trip to Mackinac Island, go fishing, explore the islands via an ecotour, or just hang out at a cottage on the lake. Our annual Antique Wooden Boat Show, which features 150+ boats, art show, music and more, will be held on Saturday, two days before the races begin.
